First post WOOT!

Well I thought it high time I started blogging again and seeing as though I haven't touched my old blog in years and have since forgotten all details of said blog, I figured it was a good opportunity to start a new one.

It is school holidays here and a little crazier every day. I am trying to maintain some semblance of sanity whilst entertaining five kids and keeping the house in a somewhat clean (enough) state. Poor little Lacey is finding it all very tiring as she usually only gets about an hours sleep during the day before her noisy, irritating, fighting, yelling, screaming loving siblings wake her up. The older kids have been keeping relatively busy playing with Christmas presents, visiting friends and having the occasional movie marathon (we have been getting A LOT of rain).

On top of all the normal day to day activity I am also studying at USQ doing the Tertiary Preparation Program in the hopes of getting into Bachelor of Nursing next semester. The workload is not too bad, it's finding hallowed "quiet time" that is the struggle. My marks so far have been great in Maths (high distinctions),  not as good in English though (but I am picky - they are still good marks). I am really enjoying studying but am also trying not to get to relaxed as this course is only a preview into real Uni life.

I have recently been on a quest to cook my own wholesome baby food for Lacey (that she will actually eat) and have found some really easy solutions. Every time I have used an actual recipes it has resulted in misery so now I am making up my own recipes and sometimes I even remember to write them down. I will be adding todays recipe for lamb casserole shortly.

Well this is just a short one for now but I will hopefully not forget about this blog and actually keep it up to date.
